Phase One 645DF+ 2.27 Firmware Update

Phase One has just announced a new firmware update for the 645DF+ camera body. This update addresses a number of stability issues; which should benefit many customers. The update provides increased stability, and addresses the possibility of inappropriate errors of “Err DB”, “Cap DB” and “No DB”.

New firmware release version 2.27 for the Phase One 645DF+ Camera body

Firmware version in the 645DF+ camera body can be checked on the LCD screen of the camera by selecting custom function 99. Firmware version 2.24 is is highly recommended for all 645DF+ cameras, updating to version 2.27 requires Firmware Updater 3.2 or later available from: http://www.phaseone.com/en/Downloads/Camera-Firmware.aspx

The firmware update version 2.27 is highly recommended for all 645DF+ cameras. Together with IQ firmware version 5.11.36 for IQ digital backs (IQ140, IQ160, IQ180, IQ260, IQ260 Achromatic, and IQ280), this update ensures increased stability with the Phase One 645DF+ camera and IQ back.

The current firmware version of the 645DF+ camera body can be confirmed on the main LCD screen of the camera body by selecting custom function 99.

Quick Tip

In order to lower the failure rate of “Err DB”, “Cap DB” and “No DB” from the camera it is important to always try to work with fully charged 645DF+ batteries.

You can update your firmware in the Phase One 645DF+ camera by using the USB port on your V – Grip Air – If you do not have the V-Grip Air, please contact Capture Integration, in order to get your camera body upgraded to latest version.
