PhotoKina 2012 Impressions

*DISPATCH-STEVE HENDRIX/CAPTURE INTEGRATION After a long 7 days in Germany, I thought I’d write up my summary of the 2012 Photokina on the plane ride home. However, I soon realized that my brain was complete mush, and after 4 attempts and nothing to show but long pages of sentence structures that were completely illegible, I decided that perhaps a photo blog would be the best approach (at least for now). … Read More →

Leaf Credo Coming in AFi Mount

MamiyaLeaf

Leaf/Mamiya has confirmed that the new Credo digital back will become available in AFi camera mount, in addition to Mamiya 645, Contax 645 AF, Hasselblad H, and Hasselblad V Series platforms. So, in one corner we have the Phase One P65+M … Read More →

The advantages of Live View are well known by now, since most 35mm DSLR’s offer high quality, real-time Live View in camera. Live View for medium format doesn’t match the flexible, high quality Live View associated with 35mm DSLR cameras, but, while limited, can still … Read More →

Did you know that we also sell…….?

Normally shipments to our clients are relatively compact and minimal affairs – a box that contains an amazing complement of a medium format digital back and camera, perhaps a technical camera like a Cambo Wide or an Arca Swiss RM3Di, and some great lenses, possibly made by Mamiya, Schneider, or Rodenstock. And of course, some important accessories to assist getting the best results. But we do also cater to larger … Read More →
