We made it. It is finally here. After months of hard work, sluggish servers, and hundreds of cups of coffee we are proud to unveil the new CI.com. Welcome.
This design change has been long coming and we are beyond excited to be able to share it with you. We are confident that you won’t find another site that is as comprehensive, easy to use, and pleasing to the eye within our industry as ours. Our radical re-design of the site came under a few simple rules and design guidelines:
1. A site that is easy and fun to use, and one that is image driven rather than one that relies on walls of text and bad formatting.
2. Easy access to products and product knowledge.
3. A complete store. We want to offer everything we have access to and make it easy to find, learn, and buy what you need.
4. And most important, consistency. This is something the previous site lacked and something we think makes or breaks not only a sites design but also its credibility.
These all culminated into what you now see before you, a site with clean lines, clear content, and incredible functionality. We hope you enjoy it and use it as a daily source for photographic reference. To learn more about our changes and where to find things keep reading:
What’s New
The new main menu
Welcome to the new menu. Here under ‘Our Products‘ you have access to product landings pages that include features, specs, media, support/resources and purchasing links.
- The Store is pretty self-explanatory, we have revamped our online store to include vast amounts of more information than before, multiple product images, ability to review and comment on products and an extensively expanded product selection from lens caps to camera systems, it’s all there.
- Rental now has an expanded & updated list, multiple cities, and clearer navigation.
- The Blog has been given a face lift and new added functionality. You can now see who authored articles (finally!), leave comments, and share via social media.
- Company now contains who we are, what we do, and why we are an industry leader. You can also view our upcoming Events and workshops from here.
- Support has been dramatically expanded. You can now check your Digital Back’s warranty easily, send us RAW files, purchase support packages, access our software download archive, and find local resources.
- You can now create an account with Capture Integration to manage your online purchases, comments and reviews, this is accessed at the top under ‘My Account‘. Your cart & wishlists can also be accessed from here.
Account management.
Our menu system has changed and is significantly easier to navigate pages and the site as a whole. The top menu is a constant and will never move, this is your main link to the rest of the site. Once you are within a page you will be greeted with a variation of the menu system shown below, this will always live on the left hand side. Links to all the main pages within whatever category you are in will be shown, then below that any other relevant links/info.

Other things to take note of…
- Promotions are much easier to keep track of as they now live in multiple places. On the blog and now in the store, respectively here & here.
- Capture One Pro has a new & extensive landing page with links to resources and discount codes. Learn more and check it out now!
- For the first time ever we have dedicated lighting pages for both Broncolor and Profoto. Here you can learn more about each system and what accessories are available for each.
- Pre-Owned items has been significantly expanded with options to now purchase directly through the site (with exception to Digital Back, they will always be up to date but please call/email for availability and pricing).
- All previous content and articles have been retained and archived. They are easily findable using the search function within the blog.
- You can easily find links to our social media at the bottom of every page. Here you will also find the ability to sign up for our newsletter list. You can view past newsletters within the blog menu.
FAQ
Q. I loved viewing all your Capture One Pro articles, they helped me so much. Where are they now?!
A. Easy! They still live within the blog, but we have consolidated categories to make it more straightforward. ‘Capture One Pro‘ now contains all Capture One articles.
Q. You had a great reference resource for Lens Coverage and a great Focal Length Calculator, where did these go to?
A. These have been moved respectively here & here. We are working currently to expand and improve upon these already great resources as well.
