Tenba Introduces New Eizo 27-inch Air Case

Tenba has expanded their industry-leading shippable Air Cases with a new wheeled case for the 27-inch Eizo ColorEdge and Flexscan displays, and they have updated the existing Apple iMac cases for the latest thin models. For the existing iMac cases, catalog numbers will not change. Only the interiors have been updated to accommodate the new thinner iMacs. Tenba has also introduced optional inserts — sold separately — that allow customers with older iMac Air Cases to update them for the new thinner machines.

Air Cases allow Eizo displays and Apple iMacs to be safely transported when shipped by a courier or freight company, checked as luggage at the airport, or when moved by car. The cases are built with custom-fitted interiors and strategically placed, hand–cut foam inserts to cradle and protect the computers and displays better than the original shipping carton. Pockets on the interior allow storage of a keyboard, mouse, cables and small accessories. The cases for the 27-inch Eizo and iMac also feature heavy-duty wheels.

Incorporating Tenba’s renowned Air Case construction, the cases comprise a multi-layered skeleton of air-channeled plastic panels, high-density foam and specially molded framing components, with a heavily reinforced ballistic nylon outer shell. This patented design provides the protection of a hard-sided case at a fraction of the weight. The 27-inch iMac inside an Air Case weighs less than 50 pounds, which is essential to avoiding overweight fees at the airport. Air Cases are strong enough to stand on, even when empty, and are built to meet or exceed ISTA and ATA shipping standards. Each case includes Tenba’s excusive Datapanel—a three-part shipping document window and identity solution, including optional laser engraving.
