A week in New England with the best photo gear on the planet. Peak season and great weather. The 2013 Capture Integration Masters Series workshops are now a wrap. The Capture Integration Team just completed a successful week with instructors Ed Cooley and Guy Mancuso, Phase One, Leica, and attendees that traveled in from all over the map. Special thanks to Cambo, Phase One, Leica and Eizo as our key sponsors.
While the government shutdown did its best to keep us out of the national park, Ed Cooley did an impressive job of scouting both around and “inside” the park. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the USA, and it was filled with countless shooting opportunities. Throughout the week, attendees had the chance to try out each and every piece of equipment. Early morning sunrises, mid-day fog and incredible sunsets on the water. Phase One representative Murray Elliot provided an extensive Capture One Pro training session. Phase One also provided the elusive IQ20 Achromatic and brand new
Schneider 2x Teleconverter. Kelsey Fain from Leica demonstrated the incredible Leica S system. One of the bigger highlights was the Friday private boat tour along the coast of Maine – giving everyone prime shooting opportunities for the Bar Harbor lighthouses, marinas and more.
Here’s what the attendees are already saying!
An overall excellent workshop, from the location, to the instructors to the Capture Integration Staff. An 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am already looking forward to the next one!!
Capture Integration offers one of the few photographic workshops geared to Medium Format Digital shooters where a photographer has the opportunity to test very specialized equipment before purchase. I would highly recommend a Capture Integration workshop to any photographer considering entry into Medium Format Digital photography.
Capture Integration workshops I believe provide a unique opportunity to photograph in a great location, alongside like minded dedicated photographers and with access to the very best in photographic tools from the multiple world class vendors. When I was looking to take the next step to the very best in digital camera systems, the CI workshops gave me the opportunity to experience using the best equipment in real world shooting situations. Assisted by world class instructor photographers and both dealer and manufacturer representative support, I was able to decide for myself what were the best tools for my photography needs and more importantly learning how to use them effectively. This alone was an invaluable experience.
