The Current Versions of Profoto Firmware

The A1 update ‘B5’ (skipping directly from ‘B2’ to ‘B5’ for the A1) provides:

  •  HSS boost mode is added. HSS boost mode increases max HSS light output with almost 2 f-stops at some cost of stability. HSS boost mode is set as default HSS mode in version B5 but HSS remains selectable in menu.
  • Fixed bug with battery indication not showing full on fully charged batteries.
