The Profoto Giant Reflectors offer the truly parabolic and focusable silver reflectors in three sizes, 180cm (6 ft), 240cm (8 ft) and 300cm (10 ft) for an extrawide and at the same time, crisp and very even light. With a 40 percent larger reflector area than the previous largest model, the new Giant Reflector 300 is the biggest light shaping tool Profoto has ever produced. Measuring a full three meters (approx. 10 ft) across, the Giant Reflector 300 can provide the photographer with a seven square meter wall of crisp silver surface.
The Softlight Reflector gives focused light, while at the same time providing soft shadow definition, thanks to its large reflecting area. It is especially suitable for lighting materials or subjects in which the structure should be emphasized. Can be equipped with glass deflector, 10° grid and a front diffuser.
Zoom Reflector (#100785) – The Zoom Reflector has been a firm favorite of photographers all over the world for more than four decades. Probably because it’s one of the most versatile reflectors available, capable of providing the light of a normal reflector, a wide-angle reflector and everything in between, thanks to the unique zoom function.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO: f/45.1 at zoom position 7 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 105° at position 10, 75° at position 7 and 35° at position 6.
Magnum Reflector (#100624) – The Magnum Reflector increases light output by one f-stop compared to the standard Zoom Reflector while maintaining a flooded light. As a result, the Magnum is a natural choice when you want smooth and even light with maximum output.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO:f/128.1 at zoom position 8 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 50° at position 10, 35° at position 7 and 25° at position 4.
Wide Zoom Reflector (#100711) – The WideZoom Reflector has many similarities to the popular Magnum Reflector, but it creates a wider and more strikingly even light spread. These unique features have made the WideZoom a go-to reflector among fashion photographers in need of a crisp, brilliant main light or perfectly even background illumination.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO: f/64.6 at zoom position 6 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 80° at position 10, 50° at position 7 and 40° at position 4.
TeleZoom Reflector (#100712) – While it shares its basic characteristics with the Zoom Reflector, the TeleZoom Reflector has a deeper shape that creates a more directed and even light with a distinct fall-off. This has made the TeleZoom a fixture among photographers who want to work with deep light or throw light evenly over large distances.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO: f/90.7 at zoom position 6 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 70° at position 10, 40° at position 7 and 30° at position 4.
Narrow Beam Reflector (#100617) – The NarrowBeam Reflector creates an intense and focused beam of light when used with a ProHead or AcuteD4 Head. Many photographers use it to throw light over large distances or when they need as much power as possible. It provides an extreme hot spot and a dramatic light fall-off, which gives a striking effect. The NarrowBeam Reflector is not recommended for Profoto flat fronted lights.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO: f/128.1 at zoom position 9 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 25° at position 9, 45° at position 7 and 70° at position 5.
Narrow Beam Travel Reflector (#100713) – The NarrowBeam Travel Reflector is the more compact version of the NarrowBeam Reflector. It is almost as powerful but more lightweight and compact and creates an intense and focused beam of light when used with a ProHead or AcuteD4 Head. As the name suggests, it was primarily designed for photographers in need of a portable, power efficient solution capable of creating distinct highlights on location.
Max f-stop @ 2m / 100 ISO: f/128.1 at zoom position 9 (with 2400 Ws)
Light spread: 22° at position 9
Reflector Accessories
Barndoor 337mm (#100715) – Barndoors are great for flagging off light and to control the light spread precisely without changing the light characteristics. The four barndoors can be adjusted individually and the entire tool can be rotated 360° on the flash head, allowing you to control and shape light in an almost infinite number of ways. This allows you to create an asymmetric light spread. For instance, you may want a sharp fall-off on one side and a soft, graduated fall-off on the other. The Barndoor 337 mm is used with the Magnum, TeleZoom and NarrowBeam Reflectors. It is not compatible with the NarrowBeam Travel Reflector.
Barndoor for Zoom Reflector (#100671) – Barndoors are great for flagging off light and to control the light spread precisely without changing the light characteristics. The Barndoor is 180 mm and used with the standard Zoom Reflector.
Snoot (#100651) – The Snoot is a light modifier that is used with a Zoom Reflector to drastically reduce the light spread. The effect is a crisp and direct light with almost no spill light. The light has a beautiful, round shape which can be used as hair light or any other application when only a small area needs to be illuminated. Use the Grid and Filter Holder to attach the Snoot to your Zoom Reflector, and voilà, you have a powerful spot at your disposal. Many photographers use it to create striking highlights in their portraits or for product photographs with meticulous details. Important to note: The Snoot cannot be mounted directly onto the Zoom Reflector. A Grid and Filter Holder is required.
Grid 5° 180mm (#100646) – Grids are easy to use accessories designed to control the light spread and to bring contrast and drama to the final image. And here the word ‘control’ really is key. With a grid attached it’s easy to control and focus the light where you want it, while limiting the light spillage in other areas of the image. It simply adds control to light shaping.
Grid 10° 180mm (#100605) – Grids are easy to use accessories designed to control the light spread and to bring contrast and drama to the final image. And here the word ‘control’ really is key. Grid Kit 5,10, 20 degree (#900849) – Profoto offers grids with different light spreads. With grids ranging from 5° to 20° light spread, the focus and concentration of light can change dramatically. That means you have several options to shape light with and to create the mood you’re looking for, whether it’s a harsher portrait light filled with character or even a slightly more directed light for a hair shoot.
Grid 10° 280mm (#100636) – The Grid 10° 280mm for the WideZoom Reflector can be used to shape your key light, create background effects in portraits, or accentuate the highlights in still life photography, among many other things.
