Is there really something magical about Leaf’s rendering of skin tone?
Many of our clients select Leaf because they love the look of skin as rendered by the Leaf system. Skin tone is multifaceted and depends on color, lightness, detail, noise, grain, smoothness of gradation, and consistency under mixed lighting conditions.
Can I view captures on the LCD of the digital back while shooting tethered?
Yes. With an Aptus-II the photographer will still see the captures on the LCD of the digital back while shooting tethered (including zooming to 100% to check focus). In addition Leaf Remote Capture can be setup to allow you to review images (including at 100%)
The Leaf Remote Capture software allows you to review your images during a tethered shoot using a wireless iPhone. This review system includes checking 100% focus, and allows multiple individuals to connect simultaneously and browse the shoot independently. The simple user interface and intuitive design allows even non-techy art directors or assistants to actively participate in the shoot.
