New firmware release version 2.31 for the Mamiya and Phase One 645DF+ Camera body.
We are currently testing this release; we do not recommend upgrading into a critical workflow until our testing with this release is complete.
Note: While as of this posting the firmware update is not yet listed on Phase One’s website for the Phase One DF+, this firmware will indeed work with the Phase One version of the body as well.
Firmware version in the 645DF+ camera body can be checked on the LCD screen of the camera by selecting custom function 99.
Updating to version 2.31 (or newer) requires Firmware Updater 3.3.1, available from: http://www.mamiyaleaf.com/firmware.html
Firmware version 2.31 provides increased stability, and addresses two issues:
- Correct AF-performance at near field with Schneider Kreuznach LS 40-80mm f/4-5.6
- Correct initialization of lenses after mounting on the 645DF+
Firmware version 2.31 is highly recommended for all 645DF+ cameras. For best performance with a Leaf Credo back it is recommended to use the latest Credo firmware, also available from http://www.mamiyaleaf.com/firmware.html
You can update your firmware in the Mamiya 645DF+ camera by using the USB port on your V–Grip. If you do not have access to a V-Grip, please contact Capture Integration in order to get your camera body upgraded to the latest version.
