Our trusty Induro representative Eddie stopped in last week with a new tool for photographers and videographers. The aluminum-alloy LFB100S a.k.a. “Little Fat Boy” is a Hi-Hat Tripod that allows capture from the lowest angles, with major stability.
The LFB100S meets and exceeds the standards set by other hi-hat and lo-hat solutions. Each leg features a two section extension and three steps of variable angle adjustment, making height adjustments and terrain adjustments a breeze. No other solutions even come close.
It’s compact, with a maximum height of 11.4 in. and minimum height of 4.3 in. (legs extended). With pivoted feet, adjustments are so easy – traditional hi-hats typically don’t all much adjustment. It’s durable, taking up to 220 lb. of pressure. Furthermore, the tripod has bolt holes in the feet – allowing it to be mounted to walls, boxes, carts, etc. Possibilities are really endless.
Included is a half ball adapter with integral bubble level, allowing adjustment to prevent uneven pans and tripod head movements when not using bowl mount. The LFB100S is $279 with a 10-year warranty.
