The Problem

Launching Capture One takes too long; far longer than it did in the past.

The Fix

  1. Close Capture One (if open)
  2. Delete the Default Session [Pictures > Capture One Library]
  3. Delete the Capture One Preference files [User > Library > Preferences > com.phaseone.(anything)]
  4. Next time you launch Capture One it will ask you to create a New Session
*Please be sure that you do not have raw files in the Captures/Move-To/Trash folders which are inside the Default Session.
