**Update**
Phase One released Capture One Pro 7.1.5 for Mac on Monday, November 18th, 2013, with updated support for OS X Mavericks. It is important to disable App Nap (a power management feature of Mavericks) for the Capture One Pro application. Details and further information can be found
here.
Apple recently released OS X 10.9 Mavericks for free last week. When any part of the Mac OS or Capture One Pro is updated – especially major releases – we give Capture One Pro a thorough testing before we begin recommending upgrading on any workflow-critical machines.
So far, we have had mixed experiences in our testing of Capture One Pro 7.1.4 on OS X 10.9 Mavericks. In our discussions, Phase One has also stated that Capture One Pro 7.1.4 is not yet compatible with 10.9 Mavericks. Based on that information, we strongly encourage you to wait before upgrading until there is a new release of Capture One Pro and we have tested compatibility.
If you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us! Keep checking our blog for more results from our testing with Capture One Pro and the new OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
