Canon lens control prototype Cambo is showing a solution to control the aperture of Canon lenses when using the ACTUS mini view camera. The lens plate has electronic contacts that couples to the Canon lens and the control unit communicates through the lens plate. This enables you to select the aperture. As we all know, Capture One Pro 8 was announced and released yesterday at Photokina. Capture Integration has been beta testing it since Beta 1 and are extremely pleased with the results. For maximum stability, Phase One focuses this release on the current Mac OS only and the future release of OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
