No More Refurbished Backs

Phase One will be discontinuing it’s refurbished back program on September 30, 2009 at 5pm EST. These pre-owned backs, which are serviced and warrantied by Phase One prior to being resold, and sold with brand new accessories have been exceptionally popular. Discounts as large as $8,000 from a new condition unit have allowed many photographers to step into medium format with full dealer support and full manufacturer warranty. If you … Read More →

Capture Integration Social at Second Row Studio

I wanted to thank Jason Wallis, Rashel Ross and Meg Cook (model) of Second Row Studio for hosting Capture Integration’s social this week. They were gracious enough to allow us to fill their studio with all of our gear and allow people to test shoot. It was a great turn out! www.jasonwallis.com

Remembering these key principles and incorporating into our daily lives seemed like common sense but it is lacking in so … Read More →

Steve's 1st Blog at Capture Integration

So I decided to eat at Bobby & Junes Country Cooking in Atlanta on 14th street today for lunch despite the fact they pull together the BBQ sandwiches with bare fingers – does that make me a wussie? Anyway, it’s always delicious as long as you don’t peer into the kitchen prep area. I’m very happy to be at Capture Integration, we’ve been friendly competitors over the years and it’s … Read More →

Upgrading to Capture One 4 Pro

Some of our users are still using Capture One 3.7.x. This note is a “kick in the butt” for those users. Capture One 4 had a rocky start early in it’s release. However, Capture One 4 Pro is now very fast, very stable, and has lots of great features improved from C1 3. All users of Capture One 3 Pro are entitled to a free upgrade to Capture One 4 … Read More →

Snow Leopard Compatibility List

Recently we posted about Capture One’s (lack of) compatibility with OSX Snow Leopard and reiterated our standard advice that upgrading to a new OS immediately is very inadvisable. For completeness: here is a resource which lists various applications’ compatibility (or lack thereof) with this new operating system. http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/ Without a doubt most mac programs which are still being developed will be made compatible with Snow Leopard quickly (weeks or months). … Read More →
