Apple has released an update for Lion, OSX 10.7.5. This update adjusted the handling of USB devices – unfortunately crashing the ability to reliably tether with a Canon camera. Canon is currently working on a new Software Developer Kit, slated for October release, to resolve this issue. Until then, Capture One Pro will not reliably tether to Canon cameras in OSX 10.7.5.
