Hard Fall At Waterfall Has Lessons

One of Capture Integration’s good customers, Ed Cooley, recently found himself in a great deal of danger when shooting in Ozark National Forest. Ed was out shooting the falls for the opening of his gallery, when he took a fall off of a 30’+ cliff breaking his collar bone, pelvis and right leg. Luckily Ed had a SPOT beacon with him that could send a message out for help.  

Flooding in Atlanta

In the past week Atlanta and the surrounding counties have received 22 inches of rain and 12 inches in the past 12 hours. Several of the interstates are closed due to rivers and creeks overflowing. Schools in most counties are also closed today. Below are several images of the Paces Ferry / Vinings area.

New Orleans

I was driving through New Orleans in the blistering heat when I noticed a peculiar site on the side of the road. All of the people buried are above ground. Not that I am morbid, but the above ground tombs were rather intriguing and beautiful. I took out the P65+ / Phase 645 w/ 80mm and hand held to shoot. The tonal quality & range is amazing!
