Phase One this morning has just announced a new firmware update to the 645DF, 1.55. This will be the final planned firmware update for the 645DF that addresses many performance and stability issues, further firmware updates will be produced for the 645DF+ instead now. We will be testing this new firmware throughout the coming weeks and will report on any success or problems we run into.
From Phase One:
“Firmware version 1.55 is a service release and is recommended to correct a number of small lens / camera / back communication errors and stability issues”
This is for the 645DF only and should NOT be used with the 645DF+ to avoid damaging or rendering the camera inoperable.
