Advanced Capture One Training
Our Capture One education is unparalleled in it’s emphasis on workflow speed. How quickly can you take 2000 images and make basic adjustments, edit down to a group of selects, fine tune, make final picks, and process to TIFFs? How consistent will the exposure be between those images? After this training you are sure to be a faster, more confident, and more consistent editor and processor. Through a myriad of custom keyboard shortcuts, window customization, tool reorganization, and custom workspace simplification you will access and use tools and features faster. For example using our custom keyboard shortcuts you’ll be able to [Sort by Tag] [Assign Ratings] [Select 5 Star Rated Images] [Move 5 Star Images to Selects Folder] [Process 5 Star Images to TIFFs] [Open Folder Containing Processed Files in Finder] with only one mouse click.
Transitioning from Capture One 3
Capture One 5.1.1 Pro is not an incremental update from 3.7.9. This is a radically changed program. There are amazingly-powerful new tools, but without poper explanation the switch to version 5 is likely to have you banging on your keyboard with frustration. We’ll guide you through changes in locations, updates in workflow and alterations in philosophy. If you’re making the transition then save yourself the headache and hours of lost time; take this class. Your keyboard will thank you!
Advanced Troubleshooting for Digital Techs & Solo Photographers
Most training classes focus on today’s issues, today’s software incompatibilities, today’s glitches. Our training goes beyond today and go in-depth on the underlying technologies, design, strengths, and weaknesses of cameras from Phase One, Leaf, Canon, Nikon and the Capture One software package. You’ll leave with a deep understanding of the way these program work under the hood, so that you’ll be a better troubleshooter. You’ll also learn the mindset and methodology of our Head of Technical Services Doug Peterson, known throughout the web and amongst our customers for his fast ability to find and solve issues. How often has a bad cable, bad battery, software setting, or OS glitch caused you to pull your hair out? Doug has seen it all and will share how to quickly analyze which component is causing the issues so you can be up and running quickly. |
