Integrated Workflow with Capture 1 and Media Pro
Capture One is widely considered to be the best raw conversion software, particularly for high-end photographic applications. One thing that has been missing, however, is an image catalog application with seamless integration to Capture One. With the release of Media Pro, Phase One has dramatically expanded the capabilities of a Capture One based workflow.
Join DAM guru Peter Krogh as he explains and demonstrates how these two powerful programs can work together to streamline workflow, increase security, and provide faster access to your valuable photos. We’ll be offering two opportunities to learn about this revolutionary workflow.

Media Pro & Capture One Integration
This program will highlight the capabilities of Phase One Media Pro, and demonstrate the integration potential with Capture One. You’ll get a great understanding of the functionality Media Pro offers, and see how to effectively use it to manage even a very large collection of images.
You’ll also leave the program with a clear understanding of how the two programs work together, and how to construct a workflow that’s right for your production environment. And finally, you’ll get some great insight on how to structure your catalogs and get started with Media Pro.
If you love the way Capture One renders images and/or prefer to tether with Capture One, but want a solution that includes cataloging, organization, and post-production workflow, this lecture will cover what you need to begin using Media Pro today. |

Hands-on Workshop (Spots Limited)
In the workshop program, we’ll take a deeper dive into Media Pro, exploring the capabilities it offers. Although the program is very intuitive to use, it’s so packed with functionality that even advanced users are unaware of some capabilities. We’ll move through each part of the program, discussing the functionality and how to use it in practical applications.
We’ll also be able to spend some time with the procedure for sorting out your existing collection. Media Pro is one of the best tools anywhere to help you sort out an image collection that has not been cataloged in an orderly way.
And because the workshop is small, we’ll be able to spend time looking at the questions that are of particular interest to the attendees. Attendees will be asked to bring their own laptop computers along with a selection of images so that you can leave with system configured for your use. |
Topics Include:
- Outline the function of each program
